Why Phone Counselling?
Initiating that first session can be anxiety provoking, stressful and results in an ability to follow through - the good news is, "You are not alone!"
Many people recount similar feelings, even I felt this back in my late teens and ended up pulling the pin on seeking help altogether due to the fear of judgement, fear around not being able to articulate what I was feeling and scared nobody would understand me!
Years on, I am now the person behind the door, phone or computer screen, which has led me to develop a Phone Counselling Service based on experiences shared by clients and my own experience in my late teens.
Phone counselling provides a stepping stone to strengthening your help seeking skills via building your confidence, trust levels in a non-confrontational environment being your home or other place you feel comfortable.
Phone counselling is a brief intervention technique which provides you with up to x 6 sessions to discuss your concerns, create a plan and provide you with coping strategies to manage the concerns to sustain positive change.
Advanatages of Phone Counselling - Remember I call you...
Phone sessions allow you to book a time and undertake your session from the comfort of your home in a safe and familiar enviornment, not to mention the other benefits such as:
